🎸 Sweet Tooth Beauregard Is Growing!

Seeking a Lead Guitarist / Tenor Vocalist and a Keyboardist / Tenor Vocalist

Sweet Tooth Beauregard (STB) is a Pittsboro-area band looking for the right musicians to help us take the next step

We play classic rock, blues, country rock and pop favorites with a fun, polished sound and authentic, personal warmth.

We're looking for musicians who are competent, mature, dependable and easy to work with; comfortable performing live; able to rehearse in Pittsboro or Cary; and willing to share setup and takedown at gigs. We're interested in playing restaurants, pubs, events and other local venues, and in building something together.

🎸 Lead Guitarist / Tenor Vocalist

Round out the band with the great leads, riffs and solos audiences love from familiar covers. We need a versatile guitarist who can deliver recognizable parts, add tasteful improvisation and play rhythm as needed.

This is a dual-role position: you must also be a solid singer with strong vocal pitch and tone, a comfortable Tenor 1–2 range, and a great ear for harmonies and blend. Our rhythm guitarist sings lead and harmonies; long sets require sharing lead vocals to maintain vocal quality and avoid fatigue. Strong harmony skills are a must, as we may feature additional vocalists and guitarists from time to time.

🎹 Keyboardist / Tenor Vocalist

Round out our sound with the versatility of modern electronic keyboards, covering electric piano, organ, synthesizers, strings, brass and other sounds that bring familiar songs to life and complement the band's overall blend.

Reading music is almost a must, although a player with exceptional musical depth who can reliably learn parts by ear will be considered. Vocally, we're looking primarily for strong tenor harmonies, solid pitch and tone, and a good ear for blend; lead-vocal ability is a welcome plus.
